We were delighted to spend a sunny afternoon with Grand Street Guild residents in the amphitheater this past weekend as we hosted Social Services Day.
With tables circling the amphitheater, our partner organizations provided residents with helpful information about activities in our neighborhood, health advice and much more. In attendance we were pleased to have the office of NYC Councilmember Margaret Chin, the office of Comptroller Scott Stringer, Catholic Charities, Henry Street Settlement, the Grand Street Guild Residents Association, and more.
Residents enjoyed live DJ music along with dance performances by young folk who participated in our seasonal classes, hosted in our Community Room.
